Sol One is a site-specific composition by Yang Bao that imagines humans as an interplanetary species exploring the profound connections we share with nature, our planet, and our own existence. The live performance merges piano and orchestra with an immersive sound installation, transforming Opus One Winery into a monumental soundscape.

Violinist and singer Leah Zeger and guitarist Ira Gonzalez delight Napa Valley audiences performing jazz and bossa-nova as a husband-wife duo, Leah and I. Both highly regarded musicians, Zeger has performed as a soloist and on tour with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, Post Modern Jukebox, Lennox, and Hans Zimmer, and is a member of the prestigious Vitamin String Quartet. Gonzalez leads ensembles for Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, The Coasters, Diana Ross and most recently David Foster.

Extraordinary harpist Bridget Kibbey illuminates the expressive range and power of this ancient instrument in a program set inside Neiman Marcus' chic event space, Penthouse On Five, at their San Francisco Union Square store. Through her own adaptations of JS Bach, Claude Debussy, and Isaac Albeniz — and paired with newly commissioned works by a set of international composers — Kibbey shares a preview of her newest work, Crossing the Ocean, her debut album with Pentatone Records to be released October 13th.

The luminous Spanish soprano Serena Sáenz makes her U.S. debut as Norina in Donizetti’s classic comedy, Don Pasquale. The stellar cast includes tenor Thomas Cilluffo as Ernesto, tenor Alexey Lavrov as Dr. Malatesta, and baritone Lucas Meachem as Don Pasquale. Noah Lindquist leads Festival Orchestra Napa in this enduring tale of love and deception. Jean-Romain Vesperini directs.
Leslie and Rich Frank invite guests for an afternoon of food, wine and fashion at Miller House, a new state-of-the-art hospitality space overlooking the picturesque vineyards and mountains at Frank Family Vineyards. Designed by the renowned American architect Howard Backen and named in honor of the boundless contributions of Leslie Frank (née Miller) to the Frank Family Vineyards legacy, the space is both practical and elegant, featuring sustainably reclaimed wood, high ceilings, and natural earth tones that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
BRESHEARS STRING QUARTET
The prodigious siblings have played music together since they were toddlers. Now, ranging from age 10 to 16, Dustin (violin), Starla (cello), Valery (violin), and Colin (viola) have performed as soloists and in ensembles from Argentina to Mexico to the UK (as well as on NBC’s Little Big Shots) and garnered gold medals at chamber music and solo competitions. The Quartet perform a special concert for the Festival’s Bouchaine Young Artist series.
In 1948, Mario Trinchero and his family embarked on a journey west in search of a better life. They purchased an abandoned Prohibition-era winery in St. Helena and renovated it, starting a small-scale operation. Fast forward seven decades and Trinchero Family Estates has become one of the biggest family-owned wine companies in the country, boasting an impressive portfolio of over fifty wine and spirits brands from around the world. The Trinchero family has always been at the forefront of innovation in the industry, shaping the way Americans drink wine and consistently committing to sustainable farming practices.

Acclaimed baritone Lester Lynch joins pianist Kevin Korth for a recital featuring a diverse range of musical styles and genres, all showcasing his versatility and artistry. Lynch performs beloved songs by Gabriel Fauré, Modest Mussorgsky, and Aaron Copeland, favorites from the Broadway hit, Kiss Me, Kate, and folk songs by renowned composer Gordon Getty.

A majestic church sits among the vines, amidst the rolling hills of Carneros. Built in Pennsylvania in 1886, it was reconstructed in Napa in the early aughts, and later purchased and renovated by vintner John Anthony Truchard in 2018. Boasting original stained-glass windows, 41-foot ceilings, and a bell tower, it is one of Napa’s iconic landmarks.

For more than half a century, St. Helena’s Duckhorn Vineyards has produced some of Napa Valley’s most prized wines – including America’s first and foremost Merlot. Over the years the endeavor that Dan and Margaret Duckhorn started with just 10 acres has grown into an abundant vineyard with gracious gardens and the Duckhorn Vineyards Estate House. That’s the setting for this delicious luncheon, where guests will be treated to a farm-to-table meal paired with Duckhorn’s award-winning wines.
B Cellars has long been celebrated for its commitment to exceptional food and wine experiences. This legacy can be traced back to the fateful day in 2002 when co-founders Jim Borsack and Duffy Keys met at a Fourth of July barbecue, where they bonded over their shared love of Cabernet Sauvignon and their dream of crafting complex, perfectly balanced, artisanal wines. With the help of acclaimed winemaker Kirk Venge, once hailed by Food & Wine magazine as "One of the Top 20 New Winemakers in the World," they turned that dream into reality. Twins Harper and Cole Randolph share exceptional musical talent. They picked up instruments during kindergarten, and their paths diverged only slightly: cellist Cole studied math, music performance, and economics at the University of Wisconsin before joining the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, while violist Harper earned her music degree from the University of Michigan and was awarded third place at the 25th Annual Sphinx Competition, Senior Division. The Randolph twins will share something else at Festival Napa Valley — the performance stage for this Bouchaine Young Artist concert.
In literature, lore, and winemaking, Odette is a legend — a princess, a ruler, a preeminent figure in history. She is also the namesake of the Odette Estate Winery, where some of Napa Valley’s finest wines are produced, and the picturesque setting for tonight’s Patron Dinner.
Maestro Constantine Orbelian leads Festival Orchestra Napa and a stellar lineup of soloists in Seasons of Hope, an evening of works featuring stories of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Cellist Kristina Reiko Cooper and vocal ensemble Volti perform Lera Auerbach’s Symphony No. 6, Vessels of Light, a piece dedicated to the extraordinary heroism of Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese diplomat who saved thousands of Jewish refugees during World War II.

Kathryn and Craig Hall are known for their commitment to sustainable winemaking practices, and their passion for hospitality and art is reflected in every aspect of their spectacular winery, HALL St. Helena. In 2003 they purchased the circa 1885 Bergfeld Winery with the intention of creating a place of stunning beauty that would match the exquisite wines they produce. They installed dozens of original artworks, restored and modernized the nineteenth-century architecture, and revitalized the vineyards. Gordon Getty's celebrated opera reimagined for film, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, receives a special screening at the historic Cameo Cinema in St. Helena. Getty’s fourth opera is based on the popular 1934 book Goodbye, Mr. Chips and other stories by James Hilton. Directed by Brian Staufenbiel, the film features tenor Nathan Granner, soprano Marnie Breckenridge, baritone Lester Lynch, and bass-baritone Kevin Short. The orchestra of stellar Bay Area players is conducted by Nicole Paiement. Members of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, conducted by Francisco J. Núñez, also perform.

The Los Angeles-based modern dance group BODYTRAFFIC brings its unique style “that suggests invention, attitude, and urban edge” (The Boston Globe) to the Bay Area in a collaborative performance with cellist Sophia Bacelar on the 'Ohana Floor of Salesforce Tower, atop the San Francisco company’s iconic headquarters. Ming Luke guest conducts Festival Orchestra Napa in a fun and informative concert of favorites by Beethoven, Mozart, Grieg, Marquez, Gershwin, and more, showcasing the full range of instruments in an orchestra while introducing young audience members to the various elements of music including dynamics, tempo, texture, and form.
