July 5–25, 2027

Open to instrumentalists ages 18 and older.

Festival Napa Valley’s Blackburn Music Academy is a three-week, tuition-free summer program for emerging professional instrumentalists, in the idyllic setting of Napa Valley.

Academy participants immerse themselves in the Festival through chamber music performances, coaching by Academy faculty, workshops, and professional development sessions. They also perform alongside professional musicians as members of Festival Orchestra Napa.

With a core faculty drawn from leading orchestras, conservatories, and universities, the Academy offers an exceptional opportunity to learn from, and share the stage with, some of the world’s most accomplished artists.
