The brilliant British cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, winner of the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year Award, makes his Bay Area debut in a recital accompanied by his sister, the equally celebrated pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason.

The brightest new star on the percussion scene, Mitya Nilov makes his Festival Napa Valley is the first percussionist in 15 years to win the Concert Artists Guild International Competition (2018). Celebrated for his distinctive musical voice, sensitivity and dynamic stage presence, he has appeared in some of the world’s top concert halls, including the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, the Mariinsky Theater Concert Hall, and the New World Center in Miami.
