Acclaimed Australian guitarist Rupert Boyd plays with a rare combination of precision and heart. This November, he brings that drive to Rivian's flagship space in Hayes Valley, housed in a restored 1920's auto body shop.
The road runs from the timeless elegance of Bach and the fiery tango of Piazzolla to beloved Spanish classics by Albéniz and Tárrega, with inspired detours through the Beatles' Julia, Salif Keita's Yamore, and Antonio Carlos Jobim's Felicidade. Energetic, evocative, and wonderfully accessible, this program shows just how far one guitar can go.

This location allowed us to join the fabric of the neighborhood, with unique shops, cafes, eateries, green space, and nearby freeway access, all in one spot.
