Voice of an Angel

Gracious hospitality is more than a gesture — it’s a way of living, shaped by generosity and intention. It’s something Darioush and Shahpar Khaledi know well. Rooted in their Persian heritage — where wine, art, and music are central to daily life — they believe in the power of culture to connect and uplift. This lot brings those elements together in support of two causes close to home: strengthening wildfire prevention and relief across California, as well as Arts for All scholarships for talented youth. 

The evening begins with an intimate performance in the estate’s serene open-air amphitheater featuring two Festival favorites — Grammy Award–winning American soprano Angel Blue and celebrated French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Blue has captivated audiences around the world, from her acclaimed performances as Mimi in La Bohème at the Metropolitan Opera to international tours alongside Plácido Domingo. Thibaudet’s genre-spanning oeuvre includes Gramophone Award–winning albums, the title of Officier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture, and a performance wardrobe designed by Dame Vivienne Westwood.

Following what promises to be an unforgettable concert, guests will gather for a lavish chef’s dinner, with each course thoughtfully paired with sublime wines from the Darioush estate — a fitting close to an evening of music, beauty, and purpose.
