Pairing the warmth of the tropics with outstanding international culture, this seven-night tour is your passport to some of the most magical enclaves of Cuba. You will travel to Cuba with Festival Napa Valley President & CEO Rick Walker and his wife Karen on an enriching quest to learn about the island nation’s rich culture and history.
Your adventure begins in Florida with the Festival of the Arts BOCA. There you’ll enjoy the VIP package for the Dance Gala curated by Isabella Boylston, a prima ballerina for American Ballet Theatre, with top tier dancers from around the world and an international orchestra including members of the RNO.
A quick flight takes you to Cuba for three nights in picturesque Havana and two more in the coastal splendor of Cienfuegos. While in Cuba you will be treated to a private concert by the acclaimed Havana Chamber Orchestra. A dedicated guide will escort you to Cuba’s most intriguing sites and secret spots, from lush botanical gardens to artists’ studios, museums, and a coffee plantation. You will discover Cuba’s sophisticated arts traditions and meet some of the most influential modern Cuban artists. You will relish the complex rhythms of Cuban music, from son to rumba and jazz, and explore the wealth of Cuban dance culture. Historians and architects will provide insights into the island’s unique heritage and spectacular beauty, further enhancing this unforgettable voyage.
And each night features a sumptuous dinner at private restaurants and estates, prepared by some of Cuba’s leading chefs. This experience will have you dancing the rumba long after you return home.
