The allure of a South American adventure is palpable in this lot, featuring a week in Argentina and Uruguay at two of the continent’s most architecturally stunning wineries. Your first stop is a visit to Alejandro Bulgheroni’s beautiful Bodega Vistalba. There you’ll enjoy a traditional Argentinian lunch and private tasting of their acclaimed wines, including the sensational and limited Corte A. Then it’s off to O. Fournier for four days of adventure. You will horseback ride through the highlands, go white water rafting on the Tunuyan River, and learn to cook with award-winning chef Nadia Haron. You’ll also learn the techniques behind blending different wines with O. Fournier’s head winemaker, and take home six bottles of your proprietary blend.
In Uruguay you will stay at Bulgheroni’s winery, Bodega Garzón. You will enjoy a private tasting of Bodega Garzón’s estate-grown wines and an intimate lunch, amid staggering views of majestic mountains. That evening you will dine on a gourmet meal at Restaurante Garzon by celebrated chef Frances Mallman. The mysteries of olive oil are revealed the following day, with a custom olive oil blending session at Colinas de Garzón followed by lunch. And did we mention golf on the estate’s private course designed by Angel Cabrera, winner of the U. S. Open and the Masters? Viva La Vida!
