Felice Doynov is an insightful arts leader and advocate empowering musicians at the intersection of artistry, education, imagination, and institutional change. Doynov serves as the Associate Dean of Visiting Faculty and Entrepreneurship at the New World Symphony (NWS), where she leads two key pillars of the curriculum: instrumental training and entrepreneurship. Within the entrepreneurship domain, she directs NWS BLUE (Build, Learn, Understand, Experiment), the organization’s seed-funding program that supports vibrant and boundary-pushing artist-led ventures from concept to implementation. Within instrumental performance, Doynov curates and collaborates with some of the top musicians and educators worldwide, bringing over 100 transformative residencies to NWS each year.
A graduate of Indiana University and the Yale School of Music, Doynov’s work as an arts leader and educator is elevated by the substantial depth and discipline of her classical performance training. She has mentored hundreds of musicians pursuing professional paths in performance, teaching, nonprofit leadership, and independent artistic projects. A sought-after speaker on music leadership, entrepreneurship, and career design, she has presented at the Yale School of Music, the Juilliard School, and numerous other institutions. Doynov’s mission is to create what the next generation of leaders needs to thrive: courageous spaces for bold ideas, practical tools, and room for transformative cultural shifts.
