Festival Napa Valley, in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America at Copia, presents “The Beauty of Napa Valley: Photography of Bob McClenahan,” on view June 18 through September 1, 2025, at CIA at Copia in downtown Napa. The show honors the photographer’s legacy with a selection of images drawn from a portfolio McClenahan assembled shortly before his untimely passing from cancer in March 2025.

Christina Maxwell is an award-winning singer and actress who has performed worldwide, including with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and at the UN. A Festival Napa Valley favorite, she is a passionate advocate for arts programming for children and served as a Pediatric Oncology Arts Therapist for the New York City nonprofit RipRap.
Alexander Kahn is Professor of Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at Sonoma State University where he directs the Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra and teaches conducting, music history, musicianship, and general education. A published author, his most recent book, Caring for the Whole Musician: Awareness and Mindfulness (co-authored with Larry Hensel), focuses on the intersection of mindfulness and the Alexander Technique.
Jeni Olsen is an inspiring thought leader, visionary, and changemaker. She founded Teens Connect with a mission to equip middle and high schoolers with tools to manage their stress and learn resilience, provide safe places and people with whom to connect, and give them a voice in their community. In 2020, Teens Connect merged with Mentis, Napa’s Center for Mental Health Services. As Director of Mentis’ Prevention Division, Jeni manages wellness programs through a mental health lens together with her bilingual, bicultural team of specialists.
Shannon de l’Etoile, Ph.D., MT-BC is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Professor of Music Therapy at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. A board-certified music therapist and member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), she is also recognized as a Fellow of the Robert F. Unkefer Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy. Her teaching focuses on music therapy research methods as well as the scientific mechanisms that underlie clinical approaches for movement and communication disorders.
Featuring keynote speaker Daniel Levitin, Ph.D., join us for a one-day gathering focused on arts and wellness, bringing together leading neuroscientists, music therapists, and musicians to explore music's role in brain health, senior wellness, and youth mental health. The event will also explore scientifically documented curative medical practices that harness the power of music.
Courtney Chiarella, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at Kaiser Permanente in Napa Valley and the Director of California Concierge Psychological Services (CCPS). With over 25 years of experience, she’s worked with patients ranging from at-risk youth and families to active-duty military, prison populations, and individuals with severe mental illness, addressing multifaceted psychological concerns across diverse and underserved communities.
The Versailles Royal Opera makes its North American debut with Donizetti’s La Fille du régiment. Festival Napa Valley’s 2025 Summer Season concludes with a symphonic program led by Stéphane Denève. Festival Napa Valley presents Disney’s Fantasia (1940) with live orchestral accompaniment by Festival Orchestra Napa. This animated masterpiece brings classical music to life with iconic scenes like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and The Nutcracker Suite, celebrating the magic of animation and music as Disneyland marks its 70th anniversary.
The 2025 Manetti Shrem Opera Fellows perform a showcase of beloved opera scenes and musical gems together with Festival Orchestra Napa. Selected from a competitive audition, each year's fellows represent the best and brightest of emerging opera singers. Maestro Ryan McAdams, renowned for his work in opera, symphonic music, and contemporary repertoire, conducts.
Experience La Dolce Vita in a tribute to legendary composer Ennio Morricone at Charles Krug. This symphonic concert, featuring visuals on the Festival’s LED wall, celebrates his iconic scores, including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Cinema Paradiso, honoring his enduring legacy in film music.
The Pacific Symphony and young pianist Tianxu An make their Festival debuts in a night of musical masterpieces. An performs Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto, known for its sweeping melodies and technical demands. The program also features Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite, conducted by Gavriel Heine, a timeless ballet score.
Festival Napa Valley opens its 19th season with a spectacular concert featuring Grammy-winning mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, violinist Tessa Lark performing Butterfly Lovers Concerto, and 2025 Joel Revzen Conducting Prizewinner Clelia Cafiero in her Festival debut.

Purchased by Tatiana and Gerret Copeland in 2020, the historic estate is just a mile from Bouchaine Vineyards and is home to 3,000 Italian olive trees, a gorgeous guest house, and a 3,500-square-foot barn, all surrounded by sweeping views of the area’s gently rolling hills.
