Festival Orchestra Napa is an all-star ensemble that brings together principal players from major international orchestras and faculty from renowned colleges and conservatories, together with participants from the Frost School of Festival Napa Valley's Blackburn Music Academy. Centered around a core of Frost School of Music faculty, the orchestra also includes hand-picked musicians from ensembles such as the San Francisco Symphony, MET Opera Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, Houston Symphony, and Atlanta Symphony, among others.

Nia Imani Franklin
Nia Imani Franklin

As stated by Lindsay Bierman, former chancellor of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Nia Imani Franklin is "a remarkable young woman who embodies the power of the arts to enrich and transform lives." Franklin was a recipient of the Kenan Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education, as well as Miss New York 2018 and Miss America 2019. She currently works as a composer and artistic leader, empowering women in music through her organization "Compose Her."

Aldo López-Gavilán

Aldo López-Gavilán is a brilliant Cuban classical pianist and a renowned master of improvisation. Beginning his career as an acclaimed child prodigy (in composition as well as performance), he has performed around the world, won numerous awards, and recorded six albums.
