Festival Napa Valley presents Opera Under the Stars, a glamorous celebration and performance at Meadowood Napa Valley featuring two operatic sensations. A center of social, artistic, and viticultural life in Napa Valley, Meadowood was recently honored with a rare triple Five-Star award from Forbes Travel Guide.
Festival favorites soprano Nadine Sierra and tenor Michael Fabiano, both winners of the Metropolitan Opera’s Beverly Sills Artist Award, perform an array of arias and duets with Festival Orchestra Napa, led by the eminent conductor James Conlon, making his Festival debut.
The New York Times called Fabiano “one of the most exciting, sought-after singers in the world,” while Le Monde raved that Sierra’s pure voice “radiates tenderness in the middle register,” and “she floats her golden high register to the limits of audibility.”
World-class opera merits world-class food, and guests will dine on a gourmet meal prepared by Meadowood’s skillful culinary team, paired with a curated selection of fine Napa wines. As the sun sets over Meadowood’s magnificent grounds and the surrounding Napa Valley, the stars in the sky and the stars on the stage will combine for a most magical, memorable evening.
