Festival Napa Valley’s 2025 Summer Season concludes with a symphonic program led by Stéphane Denève. Festival Orchestra Napa performs Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream suite and Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suite, with artwork by students and seniors from the Festival’s How I See Music workshops. Caymus Vineyards, founded in 1972 by Chuck Wagner and his parents, Lorna and Charlie, has roots in Napa Valley dating to the 1850s. The Versailles Royal Opera Orchestra takes the stage at this scenic Carneros estate for a program of baroque gems, as well as the Festival’s Opus One Premiere by Forrest Eimold, the 2025 Maria Manetti Shrem Daniel Brewbaker Composer Prizewinner.

Festival Napa Valley celebrates Ennio Morricone’s groundbreaking contributions to the Spaghetti Western. With Sergio Leone’s signature visual style, Once Upon a Time in the West is defined by Morricone’s haunting whistles and dramatic melodies. This film is a sweeping Western set in the dying days of the Old West, where a struggle to control water in a dusty desert town entangles three hardened gunmen in an epic clash of greed, honor, and revenge.

PUBLIQuartet's fun, interactive workshops focus on the basics of improvisation and include games, demonstrations, and simple interactive exercises that explore key elements of all music: rhythm, harmony, melody, texture, and imagination. Presented in collaboration with Napa Valley College as part of their 5th Annual ¡Viva Mariachi! celebration, today’s Novack Concert for Kids features a command performance by Mariachi Aztlán de Pueblo High School, made up entirely of high school students from Tucson, Arizona. A pre-concert Mariachi instrument petting zoo organized by the Napa Valley Education Foundation’s Music Connection program gives students the opportunity to experience some hands-on learning about this rich musical tradition and its origins.

Celebrate the Lunar Year (Year of the Snake) with classical guitarist Meng Su. Born and raised in China and now based in San Francisco, Su has performed in over 30 different countries around the world in halls such as the Concertgebouw, Palau de Musica, Tchaikovsky Hall and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
