Festival Napa Valley’s Novack Concert for Kids series returns Friday with two admission-free performances for local students, followed by a Q&A with participating musicians.

At the heart of Festival Napa Valley’s experience lies a commitment to pristine sound, an integral element that shapes the essence of the event. Meyer Sound solutions provided by San Francisco supplier Sound Image powered several of the festival’s venues, anchored by the main stage at the iconic Charles Krug winery.

“I was pleased to support this worthy cause with a $200,000 donation that will help contribute to a range of inspiring educational programs, free and affordable concerts, original programming for youth, and scholarships for talented young artists," said BLISS Car Wash CEO Vahid David Delrahim.

Tuesday’s concert, on the theme of “Seasons of Hope,” took the audience, arrayed in shirt sleeves and summery dresses, through contrasts as dramatic as those between the benign microclimate of Napa County and the fogged chill of San Francisco.

Every July, San Francisco dwellers and visitors alike make their way to the world-renowned California wine country for the annual Festival Napa Valley—a multi-day cultural and culinary event, featuring international stars and emerging talent in singing, dance, and instrumental music.

Last year’s gala surpassed all previous goals by raising $3.9 million; however, this year, the Arts for All Gala broke all records by achieving $4.2 million. Over the years, the 10-day event has raised millions to present free and affordable concerts, tuition-free training academies for young musicians, and inspiring arts education programs for Napa County public schools.

The Arts for All Gala summoned wine country royalty, San Francisco socials and a Nashville superstar.

In addition to headlining artists like country star Carrie Underwood, the upcoming Festival Napa Valley will offer over a dozen free concerts starting Sunday. The 17th annual nonprofit festival, running July 8-23, presents an international lineup of performers, chefs, winemakers and others.
