Fifty years ago, one unforgettable blind tasting changed the wine world forever. At the legendary Judgment of Paris, the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay crafted by winemaker Miljenko "Mike" Grgich emerged as the top white against France's best. That moment wrote the future of Napa Valley.
To honor this golden anniversary, the Festival celebrates with special events throughout the week, including this French-inspired luncheon at Grgich Hills' beautiful estate.
Guests will gather on the winery's fountain-adorned patio to enjoy an elegant afternoon of estate wines and seasonal cuisine. Grgich Hills' celebrated wines, crafted with a deep commitment to natural winemaking and sustainability, will be paired with a gourmet menu designed to complement each pour.
