Opus One stands as one of Napa Valley's most enduring symbols of vision and collaboration. Founded in 1978 by Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, the winery was born from a shared belief that the Old World and the New World could meet on equal terms, united by craftsmanship and a respect for place. 

This year's Founders Dinner is held at Opus One in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Festival Napa Valley, and in honor of the visionaries and patrons who launched Festival Napa Valley two decades ago, and the major contributors to the 2026 season. Few settings speak more clearly to the power of vision sustained over time — and to what becomes possible when people invest in a shared future.

Guests at the Founders Dinner will enjoy an exceptional evening of cuisine, music, and Opus One wines, shared in a setting that reflects the founders' belief in generosity of spirit and the lasting bonds formed around the table.
