Arielle Mack, cello

Cellist Arielle Mack completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor University under Dr. Philip Borter and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Music Performance at University of Miami under Professor Ross Harbaugh. Arielle enjoys playing in an orchestral setting and served as the principal cellist of the Baylor Symphony Orchestra under Miguel Harth-Bedoya. At the University of Miami, she is one of the principal cellists of the Frost Symphony Orchestra under Gerard Schwarz. In Florida, she also performs with Symphony of the Americas and the BOCA Symphonia. She has had the opportunity to play in several masterclasses for artists such as Steven Isserlis, Rainer Eudeikis, and Jeff Hood.

Arielle’s festival experience includes Festival Napa Valley, the University of North Texas Summer Strings Institute, the BUTI Tanglewood Institute, and the Roundtop Festival Institute. Growing up in Texas, Arielle studied with Dr. Dan Totan and grew her experience in solo and ensemble work, playing with groups such as the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra Chamber Group, Vanguard String Quartet and Duo, and Southern Adventist University Orchestra. In addition to her studies and performances, Arielle serves as a teaching assistant at the Frost School of Music, and she teaches at the Frost Preparatory Program.
