Italian-born Adriano Pennino is a musician, arranger, composer and conductor. He began his career performing in Italian clubs, followed by global recording sessions. In his 20s, Pennino and Gino Paoli commenced their long term collaborations as arranger and pianist, which have included albums such as L'ufficio delle cose perdute and Il fortunato Matto come un gatto, as well as the song Quattro Amici at the bar, winner of the Festivalbar 1991. In his 30s, Pennino worked extensively with Pino Daniele to produce work for a great number of emerging singers and artists. Following this, he began a prolific collaboration with Gigi D’Alessio, for whom he still produces and arranges albums. Pennino also went on to create songs for the Walt Disney company, including those in the High School Musical franchise, as well as Italian versions of songs from Pinocchio, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Pennino has conducted the London Symphony Orchestra, Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague, Katayama Orchestra in Los Angeles, and Orchestra of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, among others. At the Sanremo Festival, he has worked with artists such as Lara Fabian, Michael Bolton, Supreme, Nelly Furtado, Gigi Finizio, Pier Cortese, Tricarico, Dolcenera, Timoria, Bobby Solo, and Little Tony. In all, Pennino looks for an amalgam of avant-garde electric sonorities and classic orchestral timbres.
