Featuring LMR Jazz Orchestra & DJ Lady Ryan
Joining live music with ​​exceptional food and wine, Festival Napa Valley’s annual signature tasting event celebrates the bounties of Napa Valley, sharing Wine Country’s gracious hospitality with visitors and locals alike. Taste of Napa guests can sample fare from wineries, breweries, restaurants, and culinary artisans, as well as craft beverages.

Presented in collaboration with Napa Valley College as part of their 5th Annual ¡Viva Mariachi! celebration, today’s Novack Concert for Kids features a command performance by Mariachi Aztlán de Pueblo High School, made up entirely of high school students from Tucson, Arizona. A pre-concert Mariachi instrument petting zoo organized by the Napa Valley Education Foundation’s Music Connection program gives students the opportunity to experience some hands-on learning about this rich musical tradition and its origins.

Hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “a deeply musical soul and nimble technician… with utter naturalness and probing sensitivity,” pianist Harmony Zhu has performed as a soloist with major orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Violinists Étienne Gara and Yu Eun Kim’s program features French chansons, Monti's "Czardas," Brahms' "Hungarian Dances," Vivaldi, Brazilian and Korean pop hits, and even Charlie Chaplin. Blending music with storytelling, the musicians share tales from their travels — including a playful performance for an audience of ostriches! It’s a spontaneous, interactive musical picnic filled with surprises and joy.
The Versailles Royal Opera Orchestra takes the stage at this scenic Carneros estate for a program of baroque gems, as well as the Festival’s Opus One Premiere by Forrest Eimold, the 2025 Maria Manetti Shrem Daniel Brewbaker Composer Prizewinner.
Aldo López-Gavilán and Ilmar Gavilán at Jarvis Conservatory
Aldo and Ilmar brought their unforgettable sounds to Festival Napa Valley’s first Concert for Kids of the season. The brothers performed for the students of Camille Creek Community School, whose mission is to empower Napa’s most disenfranchised youth toward a productive future through restorative relationships, individualized instruction, and inspiring opportunities for growth.
Sleepover at the Museum at Lincoln Theater
Featuring Blackburn Music Academy Orchestra and conductor Martin West, this free concert for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley, St. Helena and Calistoga featured noted children’s book author and composer Karen LeFrak, and the symphonic music she wrote to accompany her latest book, Sleepover at the Museum.
Young People's Chorus of NYC

Award-winning rising star on Broadway Christina Maxwell will perform a program of showtune hits as well as favorites from the Great American Songbook accompanied by pianist Curt Pajer. Event includes a special post-performance opportunity for questions from students and their teachers.

Elementary and middle school groups are invited to discover what makes an orchestra so special. Ming Luke guest conducts Festival Orchestra Napa in a fun and informative concert of favorites by Beethoven, Mozart, Gershwin, and more, showcasing the full range of instruments in an orchestra.

Richard Howell Ensemble

Aptly described by KQED as a jazz “Jedi master,” acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and educator Richard Howell has performed and recorded with musical icons such as Etta James, Ray Charles, B.B. King, and Chaka Khan. He takes the stage with his swinging trio in this Novack Concert for Kids.

Violinist and singer Leah Zeger and guitarist Ira Gonzalez delight Napa Valley audiences performing jazz and bossa-nova as a husband-wife duo, Leah and I. Both highly regarded musicians, Zeger has performed as a soloist and on tour with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, Post Modern Jukebox, Lennox, and Hans Zimmer, and is a member of the prestigious Vitamin String Quartet. Gonzalez leads ensembles for Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, The Coasters, Diana Ross and most recently David Foster.
