Ken Savage is the Director of Events for Festival Napa Valley, bringing together his love for food, wine, and music. Born and raised in San Francisco, Ken is a graduate of Stanford University (MA in Communication, and BA in Theater and Performance Studies). He moved to Napa in 2021 with the goal of supporting the evolution and growth of the valley's arts ecosystem. Ken's passion is bringing new friends together and discovering the stories that connect us all.
Previously, he spent 10 years working as a theater producer, director, events curator, and fundraiser working at top nonprofit regional theaters across the country. Most recently he worked at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and American Conservatory Theater where he produced and/or directed over 50 productions and produced their annual gala and various fundraising events. Other theaters: Ars Nova, NY Theatre Barn, CalShakes, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, The Public Theater, Arena Stage, Playwrights Foundation, Crowded Fire Theater, Feinstein's at The Nikko, Z Space, Manchester International Festival. He has had the privilege of working with illustrious stage and screen talent including Annette Bening, Tony Hale, BD Wong, Riz Ahmed, Anika Noni Rose, and Tom Stoppard. He also writes and develops new musicals: Someone Over the Rainbow (developed at Berkeley Rep’s Ground Floor and Rhinebeck Writers Retreat), Gravity: A New(tonian) Musical (O’Neill Finalist 2017).
