"One Family, One Estate, One Passion." These six words have long been the credo at Trefethen, one of Napa Valley’s pioneering wineries. Hailey and Loren are the third generation of Trefethens to steward the family’s rich legacy — their grandparents Catherine and Eugene laid the foundation, and their parents John and Janet built upon it to create the thriving enterprise it is today. Today Hailey and Loren are leading Trefethen with vision, passion, and creativity, continuing the family tradition of crafting distinguished estate grown wines that express the unique spirit of the land, vines, and people.
As with the wines of Trefethen Family Vineyards, the gemstones of Pomellato are steeped in passion and legacy, reflecting the brand's rich history. Established in 1967, Pomellato was the first global luxury Italian fashion fine jeweler, and its expertly crafted Milanese avant-garde jewelry designs are truly exceptional. At today's exclusive luncheon, guests will have the privilege of previewing Pomellato's dazzling collection before indulging in Trefethen's exquisite wines at the Villeta, a stunning poolside retreat that once hosted legendary culinary figures such as Wolfgang Puck and Jeremiah Tower for Catherine and Janet's pioneering Napa Valley Cooking Class. Gem Master Stefano Cortecci will also be in attendance.
Today's meal will feature a selection from Trefethen’s cellars, each carefully selected to complement the delicious cuisine.

Trefethen Family Vineyards
Celebrating 50 years! Just north of the town of Napa, where the valley’s earliest vineyards were planted in the 1800s, is Trefethen Family Vineyards. Their historic wooden winery, built in 1886, stands sentinel over vast plantings of perfectly trellised grapevines. Gene and Katie Trefethen purchased this old winery and the surrounding vineyards in 1968. The winery was in a state of disrepair and their son John and his bride, Janet, took the challenge of restoring the old winery to become one of Napa’s foremost wine producers. In 1973, Trefethen released their first commercial wine. True to the family’s vision of creating an acclaimed wine estate, they have grown every grape for every bottle of Trefethen. Today, the Trefethen family’s third generation, Lorenzo and Hailey, assist their parents in continuing the family tradition of passion for the land, its people, and the art of crafting exceptional Napa Valley wines.
