Season Finale with Festival Orchestra Napa at Charles Krug

Festival Napa Valley closes its 16th Season with a concert featuring two beloved masterworks: Copland’s quintessentially American ballet score Rodeo and Rimsky-Korsakov’s evocative orchestral suite Scheherazade, sharing the bill with Blue Fire, a symphonic poem flavored with hints of Irish and Latin American popular music, by the late great American composer Daniel Brewbaker.  Michelle Di Russo, recipient of the 2022 Joel Revzen Conducting Fellowship, leads Festival Orchestra Napa.

Daniel Brewbaker is the posthumous inaugural recipient of the Maria Manetti Shrem Daniel Brewbaker Composer Prize

Michelle Di Russo’s appearance is sponsored in part by the Italian Cultural Institute
