At ease crossing classical, global, and jazz genres, “the Yo-Yo Ma of the harp (Vogue Magazine),” dives deep into historic narratives — synthesizing them as a soloist or alongside today’s most powerful global voices and composers – while resonating within the vanguard of the new.
Described by the Boston Globe as “one of the world’s most remarkable singers,” tenor Nicholas Phan has appeared with many of the leading orchestras in North America and Europe. Also an avid recitalist, Phan is the co-founder and artistic director of the Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago (CAIC), an organization created to promote art song and vocal chamber music.
