The Blackburn Rose is a new proprietary hybrid that was commissioned by Festival Napa Valley in 2021 in honor of longtime benefactors Athena and Timothy Blackburn, and marking Timothy's six-year tenure as Chairman of the Board.
This unique gold-colored rose symbolizes the vibrant colors of the Festival's Summer Season and the warmth and vitality of these two visionaries and inspirational leaders.
Blackburn Roses may be purchased for a limited time every spring at Central Valley Garden Center in St. Helena. Proceeds benefit scholarships to the Festival's Blackburn Music Academy.
