Donor Luncheon at The Donum Estate

Invitation Only

“If you take art, put it into a beautiful landscape, and at the same time enjoy it with a glass of great wine, the experience is much larger than if the three are enjoyed separately...”

– Donum Estate proprietor Allan Warburg

Allan and Mei Warburg began collecting important large-scale sculptures in 2015, activating their 200-acre estate as a green space gallery. Guests at today’s invitation-only Donor Luncheon will be treated to a private tour of some of the Warburgs’ most impressive and important works of art (among them, “Spider” by Louise Bourgeois, “King & Queen” by Keith Haring, and “Pink Ladies” by Lynda Benglis). Each stop will be paired with a specially curated musical experience. For the final stop of the tour, guests and musicians will become part of the flow of Qi energy in Ai Weiwei’s famed installation, “Zodiac Heads.”

Surrounded by the beauty of the land, glasses of Donum Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in hand, with lunch sourced by the bounty of Donum’s on-site Kicking Bull Farm, guests will fully appreciate what Warburg means when he says of his estate, “the whole is more than the sum of its parts.”
