Festival Napa Valley Youth Corps

Paid Internship | $20/hour | Ages 18+

Festival Napa Valley invites current college and recently graduated high school and college students to apply for its Youth Corps internship program — a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in performing arts production and administration during the Festival’s dynamic summer season.

Each summer, a select cohort joins the Festival team to support major events and educational initiatives. Youth Corps interns work behind the scenes as production assistants alongside Festival staff and volunteers in a fast-paced, creative environment, contributing to the success of the season’s wide array of events and programs such as Novack Concerts for Kids, Taste of Napa, Meet the Musician sessions, and the Arts for All Gala

For a period of three to six weeks between June 11 and July 21, Youth Corps Interns will:

  • Assist with the production of community and education programs
  • Support box office and administrative operations
  • Provide production support for concerts and special events
  • Represent Festival Napa Valley as a community ambassador at outreach events in Napa Valley
  • Build valuable job skills while working collaboratively across departments
  • Learn about non-profit performing arts and education organizational administration
  • This is an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about the arts to acquire meaningful pre-professional work experience.

Eligible Applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older by first day of internship
  • Reside in Napa County during the internship period (the Festival does not offer housing)
  • Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or work authorization through specific immigration status
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and access to reliable personal transportation
  • Have an interest in the performing arts and arts program administration
  • Have a working knowledge of standard office procedures and etiquette
  • Possess strong public speaking and communication skills
  • Be computer literate (email, Google Drive, digital timecards, Canva)
  • Be organized and punctual and possess the ability to prioritize tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Be open to working during key work periods (listed below)
  • Commit to the Festival Napa Valley Youth Corps Code of Conduct
