Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center is the official summer home of The Frost School at Festival Napa Valley’s Blackburn Music Academy and the Festival’s Manetti Shrem Opera Program. Festival Napa Valley also partners with Napa Valley College throughout the year to bring local public school students to the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center to experience live concerts in professional theater.
Additionally, the Festival engages a recognized professional musician, actor, or choreographer annually as a guest artist and educator to lead an intensive residency with Napa Valley College students as part of a college credit class, including masterclasses, one-on-one coaching, and mentoring sessions. During the Festival’s Summer Season, a music appreciation class centered around daily Festival Live! recitals at CIA at Copia is also offered through Napa Valley College.
