Education
Since 2019 Festival Napa Valley has invested more than $3 million in innovative and inspiring arts education programs for Napa County public K-12 schools and college students. These include original arts education programs organized by the Festival — all offered to schools 100% free of charge — such as artist/educator residencies, masterclasses, field trips to live performances, live performances at school sites, hands-on creativity workshops and competitions, and distance learning tools and materials.
Each year, the Festival also provides partner grants for musical instruments and support for high school musical and choral productions. In 2019, the Festival underwrote Napa Valley County’s first-ever arts education master plan. Through ongoing and long-term partnerships with Napa Valley College and individual school sites within Napa County’s five public school districts, Festival Napa Valley ensures that the life-affirming opportunities of a vibrant arts education are accessible to the next generation of artists and arts enthusiasts.
