Kramlich Residence & Collection
To visit the Kramlich Residence is to enter a world entirely its own. Perched on a ridge above the vineyards of Oakville, the striking glass double helix structure designed by Herzog & de Meuron is both home and gallery — a living masterpiece that houses one of the world’s most important private collections of media art.
Pamela and the late Richard Kramlich collected seminal works by Bruce Nauman, Bill Viola, Marina Abramović, Ai Weiwei, Nam June Paik, and others — not as treasures to be hidden away, but as art to be lived with, experienced, and shared.
Today’s luncheon is both a gathering and a revelation, with wines from Clos Du Val, one of Napa Valley's most storied Stags Leap District estates, thoughtfully paired with a menu designed to complement this extraordinary setting.
