Vintner's Luncheon at Harbison Estate

Two things have been in the forefront of Joe and Pat Harbison’s life together: giving and growing. Long before they entered the winemaking world, purchasing five acres of prime east Oakville vineland in 2005, they knew their way around collectible wines. Joe became the go-to guy to curate eye-catching luxury lots for a multitude of children’s charities, bringing in millions for worthy causes. He and Pat carried this mission into their own Cabernet-centric winery, Harbison Estate, which earned its reputation as the ultimate cult wine only available for purchase at charity auctions, benefitting worthy causes like the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All programs.

Now, they bring their big hearts and gorgeous wines to today’s Vintner’s Luncheon. A gourmet meal will be paired with their fruit driven, layered, seamless wines that "flirt with perfection" (Jeb Dunnuck), grown in the famed red volcanic alluvial soils that are home to Napa’s most sought-after versions of the grape.

Harbison Estate

In 2005, vintner/philanthropists Joe and Pat Harbison were fortunate to find a small parcel of land on Oakville's east side and began development of their winegrowing estate, Harbison Estate. Sitting on the same uplifted alluvial fan and red volcanic dirt as its already famous neighbors, the site proved ideal for planting Cabernet Sauvignon. Planted to five small vineyard blocks, the property yields approximately 75 highly regarded cases of Harbison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon each vintage.
