Castello di Amorosa

La Dolce Vita continues at Castello di Amorosa, Dario Sattui’s breathtaking 121,000-square-foot, 13th-century-style Tuscan castle. Its majestic walls, open-air courtyard and medieval architecture set the stage for an immersive celebration of music, wine, and cuisine honoring the legendary Ennio Morricone.
The setting is illuminated with an experience of sight, sound, and movement inspired by the rich traditions of Italy, presented as part of the Festival’s Suzanne Deal Booth Visual Arts program. The 2025 Manetti Shrem Opera Prizewinners — soprano Marina Monzó and tenor Kang Wang — perform a selection of beloved Italian arias and songs. The evening also features A Giant of Silence: Tribute to Jan Shrem, a poignant film by Mauro Aprile Zanetti honoring one of the Festival's founding benefactors and his lasting contributions to the arts.
Completing the evening are Castello di Amorosa’s acclaimed Italian-style wines, perfectly paired with a gourmet menu for a truly memorable celebration.

Rising above the hills in the Napa Valley is Castello di Amorosa, which translates to the “castle of love” in Italian. Castello di Amorosa is an authentically-styled, thirteenth century Tuscan castle winery replete with high walls, five defensive towers, and over 30 acres of estate vineyards. It was built over a 14-year period by Dario Sattui, a fourth generation winemaker and owner of V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena, California.
