Trio Tangazo unites 2022 Latin Grammy Nominee Sascha Jacobsen (bass), virtuoso Seth Asarnow (bandoneon), and master guitarist Laureano Busse. Performing golden-era classics and Piazzolla’s masterpieces, their dynamic artistry spans global stages, blending tradition and innovation. Together, they bring the soul of Argentine Tango to life with unparalleled passion and precision.

Performers
Trio Tangazo is an all-star Tango group bringing the passion and artistry of Argentine Tango to the stage. The trio features 2022 Latin GRAMMY® Nominee Sascha Jacobsen on bass, virtuoso bandoneonist Seth Asarnow, and master Argentine guitarist Laureano Busse. Together, they deliver electrifying performances of classic Tangos from the golden era, alongside modern masterpieces by the legendary Astor Piazzolla.
Seth Asarnow has established himself as one of the most prominent bandoneonists in North America. Known for his work with Forever Tango on Dancing with the Stars, he has also performed as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. In addition, Seth leads his own Tango orchestra, Seth y su Sexteto Típico.
Bassist Sascha Jacobsen was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2022 with his group Los Tangueros del Oeste. Based in Argentina, Sascha is renowned for his versatility, having collaborated with artists such as Rita Moreno, the Kronos Quartet, Hugh Jackman, and Patti Lupone. He also co-founded the acclaimed Musical Art Quintet and Trio Garufa.
Guitarist Laureano Busse, a native of Mendoza, Argentina, is an officially recognized performer of Música Cuyana, the folk music of the Cuyo region. Laureano has toured internationally and performed with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Mendoza, as well as directed the Fiesta de la Vendimia de San Carlos.

Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center is dedicated to theater and music instruction and performance. It offers professional quality theater in a college setting, featuring a five-show season as well as acting, music and production courses led by industry professionals. It is the official home of Frost School at Festival Napa Valley's Blackburn Music Academy.
