Edward Burns

Bassoonist Edward Burns, originally from Santa Rosa, CA, received his B.M. from the Manhattan School of Music as a student of Frank Morelli and his M.M from The Juilliard School as a student of Whitney Crockett.

Edward is currently a resident of New York City and, in addition to being an active member of The Knights, freelances with ensembles including the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, Philadelphia Orchestra, and New Jersey Symphony. Recent engagements have taken him on tours throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and Central America.
