Shuaib Elhassan is a dancer with Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Originally from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Elhassan began his formal dance training at the Ailey School on a full scholarship under the co-direction of Tracy Inman and Melanie Person. Elhassan also trained at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts and Jacob’s Pillow, and he was a member of Complexions Contemporary Ballet during their 2012- 2013 season. Additional companies with which Elhassan has performed include Life Dance Company, Zest Collective, Dance Iquail, and the Von Howard Project.

Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko bring their exhilarating production, A Night at the Ballet, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala. The program features highlights from some of the world's most beloved classical ballets, including Don Quixote, Diana & Acteon, and Le Corsaire. The evening also includes a special appearance by guest artist Nicholas Palmquist.
