Randy Waldman

Randy Waldman is Grammy award winning pianist, arranger, composer, conductor, producer, as well as a helicopter and airplane instructor. He began playing piano at age five, at which time he was considered a child prodigy.

A native of Chicago, Waldman was 21 when he went on tour as pianist with Frank Sinatra. He then relocated to Los Angeles and within a year was touring with Lou Rawls, Minnie Riperton, Paul Anka and George Benson.

Eventually, Waldman began a recording career in Los Angeles that would go on to span over 40 years. He has performed on hundreds of albums, motion picture soundtracks and television shows. His piano playing can be heard on Titanic, Ghostbusters, Forrest Gump, The Bodyguard, Back to the Future, Beetlejuice, Mission: Impossible, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, to name a few.

For the past 38 years, Waldman has been Barbra Streisand’s pianist and music director and is featured on her albums, movies and live performances. He has performed on recordings with artists such as Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Olivia Newton-John, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and many more.
