Randel Leung

Randel Leung is a clarinetist and administrator in Colorado and the Bay Area. Leung earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Clarinet Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder. He also holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Before pursuing his music degree, he completed a degree in Marine Studies. Leung performs with a variety of ensembles, including the CO Symphony, CO Ballet, Central City Opera, Festival Napa Valley Orchestra, and Hong Kong Philharmonic. His recent honors include First Prize in the International Clarinet Association Orchestral Audition Competition and First Prize in the International Concert Artist Competition, which led him to a solo Carnegie Hall debut in New York City.
