Grammy and Emmy Award-winning violinist Nick Kendall continually reimagines and reinvents how a traditional violin virtuoso can transform the music world. In addition to his solo career, Nick is a founding member of the internationally-acclaimed band Time for Three (TF3). He also co-founded and plays in the artist-driven East Coast Chamber Orchestra (ECCO), and in 2020, he became Artist in Residence at New York’s Lincoln Center. In all capacities, Nick has performed at numerous renowned international venues and collaborated with myriad famed artists of all genres. Emblematic of Nick’s diverse artistic expressions are special projects that include original film scoring; recording new music by living composers; and co-writing, producing, and performing on pop albums.
Nick's commitment to his art goes beyond his work as a performer, as his kids’ concert series “Listen up: Music is a Language!” has been programmed throughout the United States, with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony, and Philadelphia Orchestra. Nick’s love for music is rooted in family tradition: his grandfather brought the Suzuki method from Japan to the United States in the 1960s. Nick began studying through the Suzuki method at age three and mastered his craft at Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music.
