Born in Valencia in 1994, Marina Monzó studied flute and voice at the Conservatory of Music in Valencia. In 2016, she made her professional debut at Bilbao Opera in the title role of La sonnambula. That year, she also became a member of the Accademia Rossiniana under Maestro Alberto Zedda. Since then, she has been a regular guest at the Rossini Opera Festival, where she has performed in several concerts and operas, such as Il signor bruschino and La pietra del paragone.
Marina has appeared in opera houses such as the Teatro di San Carlo, Bavarian State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Real in Madrid, Welsh National Opera, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Royal Opera House in Oman, Grand National Theatre in China, Musikverein in Vienna, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Palau de Les Arts, Teatro Bellas Artes in Mexico, Opéra de Rouen, and Teatro de la Zarzuela, among others. In 2024, she made her US debut at Santa Fe Opera as the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro. In 2022, she won the Ópera XXI Award for Best Young Singer and the Ópera Actual Award for Best Young Artist.
