Soprano Manon Lamaison is an alum of the University of Montreal and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Lyon, where she studied singing after receiving diplomas in piano and musicology from La Sorbonne in Paris. She has been a member of the Ravel Academy and Philippe Jaroussky Academy, and in concert, she appears often as a duo with pianist Mickaël Lipari-Mayer.
On stage, Manon has sung the roles of Suzanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and Mélisande in Pelléas et Mélisande with the Opéra des Landes; Barberina in Le Nozze di Figaro in a production staged by Ivan Alexandre and conducted by Marc Minkowski at the Opéra Royal de Versailles; Pamina in The Magic Flute in Tourcoing and Compiègne at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées; and Cupid in Orphée aux Enfers at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Recently, she has appeared as Constance in Dialogues des Carmélites at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées and at the Opéra de Compiègne. Her future projects include Papagena in Die Zauberflöte at Tours Opera, Gianetta in L'Elisir d'Amore at the Lorraine National Opera, and Blondchen in Entführung aus dem Serail at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées.
