Selected from a competitive audition, each year's Manetti Shrem Opera Fellows represent the best and brightest of emerging opera singers. As part of a comprehensive celebration of the vocal arts, the Manetti Shrem Opera Program nurtures the creative careers of some of the world's most talented singers. The program includes a fully staged opera performance, a tuition-free summer residential conservatory for college-aged students and recent graduates, a vocal arts concert series, and the Manetti Shrem Opera Prize. Summer conservatory participants learn from leaders in their field – studying under the guidance of renowned faculty, guest artists, guest conductors, and soloists – and engage in advanced performance opportunities during the Festival.
Manetti Shrem Opera Fellows' appearance is made possible through a generous gift from Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem.
