Jay Benson

Bassoonist Jay Benson pursues a varied career as a performer and a teacher. Jay finished their Artist Diploma at The Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory, and their Bachelor of Music degree at the Conservatory of Music of the University of the Pacific. Currently, they perform with an array of orchestras, opera companies, and bands in the Bay Area. Jay enjoys storytelling and making an emotional connection with the audience whenever performing.
