Hina Khuong-Huu

Violinist Hina Khuong-Huu, First-Prize winner of the 2023 Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition, has performed worldwide as a soloist and collaborator with leading ensembles and musicians.

Following her acclaimed Kennedy Center debut, Hina's career continues to rise with major appearances in the 2024/25 season. She will perform recitals at New York’s Merkin Hall with pianist Rohan De Silva and at the Ljubljana Festival with Kai-Min Chang. Her orchestral debuts include performances with the Symphony of the Americas, Savannah Philharmonic, Greensboro Symphony, Brevard Symphony, and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.

A "VC Artist" recognized by the Violin Channel, Hina has played with the Oxford Philharmonic, Flanders Symphony, and Chamber Orchestra of Geneva, among others. She has shared the stage with Jennifer Koh, Maxim Vengerov, and Andrés Cárdenes and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Buckingham Palace. A passionate chamber musician, she frequently appears with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players.

Hina studies with Itzhak Perlman at Juilliard and Columbia University through a double degree program. She performs on the 1722 ‘Lord Wandsworth’ Stradivari, on loan from the Ryuji Ueno Foundation and Rare Violins In Consortium.
