Erica Pereira

Erica Pereira is a soloist with the New York City Ballet. She began studying at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, in 2005 and became an apprentice with the company in 2006. While an apprentice, Pereira danced the role of Juliet in Peter Martins’ Romeo + Juliet in 2007, and she joined the corps de ballet that spring. She was promoted to soloist in 2009.

Born in Northport, New York, Pereira began studying ballet at the age of eight and enrolled at Ballet Academy East at the age of ten. She attended summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Pacific Northwest Ballet.

A Night at the Ballet

Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko bring their exhilarating production, A Night at the Ballet, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala. The program features highlights from some of the world's most beloved classical ballets, including Don Quixote, Diana & Acteon, and Le Corsaire. The evening also includes a special appearance by guest artist Nicholas Palmquist.
