French vocalist Eléonore Pancrazi is a celebrated mezzo-soprano, having won awards at the Marmande, Béziers, Nîmes, Arles, UPMCF, and Musiques au Cœur du Médoc competitions, as well as second prize at the International Pietro Cesti Competition. In 2018, she became a finalist at the Voix Nouvelles Competition in Paris and at the Glyndebourne Mozart Opera Cup. In 2019, she was awarded the Lyrical Revelation prize at the Victoires de la Musique Classique.
Born in Corsica, where Pancrazi started performing roles at the Les Nuits d’été de Corté festival. She graduated with honours from the prestigious Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris and has been a member of the Studio Opéra de Lyon, Aix en Provence Academy, and of Opéra Comique de Paris Youth Academy. In 2020, she joined the Klagenfurt Stadttheater Company in Austria.
Eléonore’s first solo album A Voce di a Terra was released in 2024 by Oktav Records. It is a tribute to her native island through Corsican popular songs arranged and orchestrated by Maurice Ravel, also including Dvorak’s Gypsy Songs, Baîlero from Chants d’Auvergne by Canteloube, and The Last Rose of Summer from Britten’s Folk Songs.
