el•a•nei — from the Greek word for light — is a classical alternative band composed of Lau Noah, Nick Kendall, and Ahmed Alom. Following a sold-out collaboration at Carnegie Hall, the three artists came together to create a project shaped by Noah's upbringing in Catalonia, Spain, Kendall's Japanese heritage and American roots, and Alom's Cuban origins.
The band weaves tradition with unconventional novelty, bringing their exceptional performing artistry to audiences ranging from classical music lovers to experimental songwriting fans.
