Connor Walsh is a principal dancer with Houston Ballet. Born in Fairfax, Virginia, he began training at the age of seven with his mother, Constance Walsh. He furthered his training at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, Harid Conservatory, and Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy, where he was awarded the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation Scholarship and the Ben Stevenson Scholarship. In 2004, Walsh won the first annual gold award from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and was given the Award of Encouragement at the Shanghai International Ballet Competition.
In 2004, Walsh joined Houston Ballet’s company as a member of the corps de ballet. He was promoted to soloist in 2006 and to principal dancer in 2007. In recent years Walsh has expanded his reach into teaching, coaching, and choreography. In 2015, along with Houston Ballet company members Oliver Halkowich and Melody Walsh, Walsh founded REACH, a choreographic project raising money for arts education. Following the success of REACH, Walsh and his colleagues were invited to create a world premiere for Houston Ballet in 2018. Walsh has since created additional works for Houston Ballet and others. In addition to his career, Walsh is a soccer fanatic and food enthusiast.

Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko bring their exhilarating production, A Night at the Ballet, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala. The program features highlights from some of the world's most beloved classical ballets, including Don Quixote, Diana & Acteon, and Le Corsaire. The evening also includes a special appearance by guest artist Nicholas Palmquist.
