Aysha Gomez-Kureishi is a premier San Francisco Bay Area harpist, entrepreneur, and tech professional whose musical career bridges global artistic traditions with modern innovation. Aysha began her studies at age seven in Germany, winning several European youth harp competitions. Her Pakistani-Ukrainian heritage and an international upbringing across Canada, Saudi Arabia, Germany, China, and Singapore shaped her signature approach and iconic playing style. She is one of the Bay Area’s most sought-after luxury wedding harpists and an active orchestral presence with regional groups such as the Saratoga Symphony, California Symphony Orchestra, Mission Chamber Orchestra, Nova Vista Symphony, South Bay Philharmonic, and the Googler Orchestra.
Beyond the stage, Aysha balances her performing career with her work in Strategy and Operations Management at Google DeepMind. In 2025, she co-founded the California Harp Center in Hayward, California, where she serves as Chief Executive Officer alongside her husband Carlos Gomez and partners Dr. Vincent Pierce and Dr. Alan Berquist. Aysha is also a board member of the Bay Area Chapter of the American Harp Society. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University.
