Angelo Greco has danced major roles in Tomasson’s Nutcracker (Grand Pas de Deux Prince) and the Sleeping Beauty (Prince Desiré), Scarlett’s Frankenstein (Henry Clerval), Wheeldon’s Cinderella (Benjamin), and Balanchine’s Prodigal Son (Son). He created roles in Possokhov’s Optimistic Tragedy (Two Sailors), Rhoden’s LET’S BEGIN AT THE END (principal trio), Welch’s Bespoke, and Wheeldon’s Bound To (solo section and ensemble). His repertory also includes principal and featured roles in Béjart’s Gaîté Parisienne (Bim), Duato’s Nutcracker, MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), Nureyev’s Don Quixote (Basilio), and Ratmansky’s the Sleeping Beauty (Prince Desiré and Bluebird). Greco performs with Roberto Bolle and Friends on tour, including at the On Dance Gala in Milan, Italy in June 2018 and at the New Year’s Ballet Gala in Baden-Baden, Germany in December 2017. Greco won the award for best male dancer at the International Competition for the Erik Bruhn Prize in Toronto, Canada in November 2016 and he received the Outstanding Artistry Award presented by Dance Europe in 2011 and 2012.
