Adji Cissoko is the Associate Artistic Director of Alonzo King LINES Ballet. A dancer with LINES since 2014, Cissoko originated many central roles with the company and has taught classes around the world as part of the company’s outreach program. Prior to joining LINES, Cissoko danced with the National Ballet of Canada, which awarded her with the Patron Award of Merit in 2012.
In 2020, Cissoko became certified in health and life coaching, as well as in ABT’s National Training Curriculum. In 2021, she choreographed her first piece “AZIZ” for Ballet X, and in 2022, she was awarded National Sawdust’s Toulmin Fellowship, which supports choreographers and composers who are historically underrepresented in the field. Cissoko grew up in Munich, Germany, where she trained at the Ballet Academy Munich and graduated with a diploma in dance. Cissoko later attended the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre in New York City on full scholarship.

Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko bring their exhilarating production, A Night at the Ballet, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala. The program features highlights from some of the world's most beloved classical ballets, including Don Quixote, Diana & Acteon, and Le Corsaire. The evening also includes a special appearance by guest artist Nicholas Palmquist.
