Andrea Saenz

Andrea Saenz has dedicated almost three decades to developing a career in art education in public and community spaces. With an M.A. in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a B.A. from the University of San Diego, and a Multiple Subject Clear BCLAD Teaching Credential, Saenz brings a multifaceted approach to her work and enjoys designing interdisciplinary arts experiences for all ages.

Before joining Festival Napa Valley, Saenz was Deputy Director at di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, where she helped broaden the scope and scale of the organization’s public access, programming, and community partnerships. Prior roles include positions within the Education Departments of the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin, the North Carolina Museum of Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Her writing on museum education and community engagement has appeared in professional publications, and she has served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Museum Education.

A recognized community leader and arts advocate, Saenz serves on the Napa County Arts & Culture Advisory Committee and the Board of Arts Council Napa Valley. She is passionate about the role of the arts in building connection, expanding access, and strengthening communities.
