About
At Festival Napa Valley, we are committed to protecting this extraordinary region and ensuring that it thrives. Napa’s natural beauty and agricultural heritage are essential to its identity, and environmental sustainability is key to preserving both. Here’s how we’re working to advance sustainability at Festival Napa Valley — and how you can join us in making a difference.
Eliminating Single-Use Plastics
We are dedicated to reducing plastic waste. To stay hydrated, we encourage you to bring your personal, reusable water bottle to use at our conveniently located refill stations.
This year, we're excited to collaborate with our culinary partners on using compostable serveware for all events. Together, we can eliminate single-use plastic and significantly reduce plastic waste.
Reducing Waste
Proper disposal helps us divert waste from landfills. Throughout the season, volunteers will be at waste sorting stations to help you ensure recyclables and compostables are disposed of correctly. Your participation in this effort helps keep Napa Valley beautiful.
Transitioning to Clean Power
To reduce our carbon footprint, we are working to reduce our fossil fuel consumption and gradually switch to rechargeable battery power.
Environmentally Friendly Materials
We are transitioning printed materials to recycled, environmentally safe, FSC-certified paper and products. In addition, we are committed to eliminating waste wherever possible by shifting from printed materials to digital communications.
Sustainability is a collective effort, and small actions can have a lasting impact. Together, we can celebrate the best of Napa Valley while taking meaningful steps to protect its future.
